Auction
Auction 22 Oct 2021
'Hanckels' & 'Rose Hill' - two outstanding parcels of prime farmland will be offered for sale by public auction on Friday 22nd October, as separate parcels. The Pleasant Hills Community Hotel will be the venue (subject to Covid19 restrictions).
'Hanckels' comprises 81.8 ha/202.12 acres (approximately) of rolling red loam soils adjoining the eastern boundary of the village of Pleasant Hills. Frontage to the sealed Henty Pleasant Hills Road affords excellent access. Currently cropped with wheat as one paddock, 'Hanckels' has an excellent history of fertiliser & lime inputs and is in very good heart.
'Rose Hill' comprises 161.7 ha/399.56 acres of rolling red loam soils just 1 kilometre north of Pleasant Hills fronting the sealed County Boundary Road; again offering excellent access. 'Rose Hill' has four paddocks with a small area of remnant vegetation that has been fenced out. Canola & barley has been sown this season; again the history of fertiliser & lime inputs is excellent.
Both properties have surface dams for stock water and the Riverina Water scheme is adjoining/close by.
The land is rural land and will not have building permits available.
Settlement is proposed for Friday 4th February 2022, allowing the purchaser plenty of time to prepare for the next cropping season.
The auction will be held at Pleasant Hills Hotel at 2pm on Friday 22nd October (subject to change with Covid 19 regulations).
Pleasant Hills village is 26 kilometres west of Henty, 85 kilometres north of Albury/Wodonga and 82 kilometres south west of Wagga Wagga.
