I write this email the morning after the successful sale, by auction, of our home in Castle Hill. From the first open home to sale the guidance, support and professionalism shown by the entire RAY WHITE Castle Hill team was nothing short of amazing I would like to add a few points that I think should not be overlooked or go unrecognised.
My wife and I now retired, have bought and sold a number of properties over the past 30 plus years, and if I am honest I wasn't looking forward to vetting a gambit of agents to sell our existing property. Fortunately, I received a recommendation from an old friend, who just happens to be an agent himself, and we had the pleasure of meeting Sara Perry and Karl Anthony. They put us at ease immediately, have given us honest and transparent feedback and assistance at all stages of the process to date. In all my years of dealing with clients, customers, and key stakeholders large and small I have never experienced the top shelf, best-in-class service the " dynamic duo" Sara and Karl have provided.
Firstly and perhaps most important was the continuity of the process and the high level of service, care, and attention we received. It would be so easy for the agent/s to drop the level of contact off after a listing is secured, take the easy option of accepting pre-auction offers, pocketing commission, and moving on to the next vendor: something I am sure is happening in the greater Sydney market on a daily basis.
Sara Perry and Karl Anthony had built such a level of trust with us that this churn and burn was never going to happen and even when we waived, had emotion-driven doubt they stood firm to ensure we made informed and educated decisions. They had so much genuine faith and belief in the process, themselves and the greater RWCH team that results would speak for themselves........... and it did !!!!
My second point I find difficult to put into words. Towards the end of the campaign and specifically the week running up to auction day the requests for contract changes started. Thankfully we had been given a referral by Sara & Karl and APlus lawyers acted on our behalf. Circumstances, our lack of understanding and emotion got the better of us and we inadvertently placed an enormous roadblock in front of Sara, the prospective buyer, and the legal team. Sara and Karl, worked tirelessly to remove the roadblocks and broker a solution.
I feel that most vendors have little understanding of the background work that goes into getting a property to market. We have seen first hand the hours and hours of work that professional agents like Sara and Karl put in to get the best result possible.
The internet is awash with people complaining about poor service, inferior quality, and a general lack of care and concern. As someone who has spent the majority of my life managing sales and customer service teams for divisions within large multinational corporations, I feel compelled to address this by showing the other side of the coin where outstanding service, professionalism, and real care and concern are shown. In short, by my reckoning, Ray White Castle Hill and the team we have had dealings with have got it right.
In closing, I wish the cowboys, discounters, nonprofessionals, and sharks would leave the industry alone and that other buyers and sellers can have the same wonderful experience and achieve outstanding results with people like Sara and Karl at their side.
